Suresh, the Pro Chancellor, JSS AHER, Mysuru and former president of Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). This is an exciting step forward in strengthening industry-academia collaboration in healthcare research and capability building.
As part of this partnership, the Merck Healthcare R&D India has also launched the CATALYST program at JSS AHER. The Catalyst program is specially designed to develop industry-ready capabilities among students from healthcare and life science backgrounds with focus on critical R&D functions such as Pharmacovigilance, Medical Writing, Regulatory Affairs, Scientific Writing, and Soft Skills Development. It provides a platform to engage with young minds and reaffirm Merck Healthcare R&D India's commitment to advancing scientific innovation through collaborative learning.
Last year too, Merck Healthcare R&D India successfully completed the Catalyst Program with over 20 bright life science students from Dayananda Sagar University. This initiative will mark a significant a step towards strengthening academia-industry partnerships and will enhance the skills and knowledge of all participants, paving the way for future innovations in healthcare.
