Merck signs MoU with CSIR-IICT to strengthen industry-academia ties

The collaboration will foster joint research initiatives, scientific knowledge exchange, and innovation

Merck signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CSIR–Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad, in the presence of Dhananjay Singh, Managing Director, Merck Life Science & Head, Discovery Solutions, India; Sakshi Yadav, Director and Head of Pharma Business (Large and Strategic Accounts), Discovery Solutions.

Also present on the occasion were Dr. D. Srinivasa Reddy, Director, CSIR-IICT; Pravin Likhar, Chief Scientist and Chair, BDRM, Indian Institute of Chemical Technology; and Dr. S. Rama Mohan, Chair, Knowledge and Information Management, CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad.

The MoU aims to strengthen industry-research collaboration by developing analytical methods and application notes for new products, molecules, and customer challenges, while fostering joint research initiatives, scientific knowledge exchange, and innovation.
