The US FDA completed a pre-license inspection of Biocon Biologics’ biosimilars manufacturing site at Biocon Park between April 20 and April 29, 2026
The plant is currently scaling towards a production capacity of nearly 3 million gloves per day
Investment to expand manufacturing and global medicine supply capacity
The company will offer end-to-end services and solutions for the sector with a specific focus on sustainability
New material distribution will serve medical device and pharmaceutical packaging manufacturers.
The site, located in Berkeley County, will be operated using the same quality standards as DuPont’s Healthcare Industries Materials Site, the company’s longstanding biopharmaceutical manufacturing site in Hemlock, Michigan
