St. George’s University School of Medicine to host a webinar for aspiring doctors

The students can interact with resident doctors and graduates of SGU

St. George’s University (SGU) School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies will host a ‘Doctors on Call’ webinar on the 9th of November 2021, at 8.30 PM IST, which will be held on Zoom.

SGU invites all aspiring medical students to join the webinar for a chance to speak to practising doctors and graduates of St. George’s University School of Medicine. This webinar will be hosted by Dr. Sukanya Vartak, an Indian doctor who is currently a psychiatry resident in New York and Dr. Chloe Moses, a resident at Rochford Mental Health Hospital in the UK.

The students can interact with resident doctors and graduates of SGU, with an opportunity to ask questions about the life of a medical student in the Caribbean, and career path opportunities SGU can offer. Learning about the daily routine of a doctor will help students understand if they can see themselves pursuing a career in medicine.

Dr. Vartak and Dr. Moses will share their experiences as SGU students, their respective journeys into the field of medicine, and their thoughts on internationally pursuing their careers in the US and UK, which are pathways that SGU provides.
