Daiichi Sankyo said that it is deeply saddened by the conflict in Ukraine and horrified by the threat to peace, freedom, and security in Europe and beyond.

It further added that, “Our solidarity and thoughts are with the people of Ukraine as well as our colleagues, families and loved ones in the region.”

To support humanitarian aid for those impacted by the conflict, Daiichi Sankyo Company, will donate US $1 million to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

Multiple Daiichi Sankyo group companies are likewise donating, by contributing to their local charities and leveraging gift matching programs, adding to our overall support for those affected by this conflict.

The company in a statement said, “We are also thankful to our many employees who are helping privately, including by hosting refugees in their homes. We are working with our partners across the globe to ensure, as much as possible, that patients retain access to our medicines and our clinical trials worldwide.”

It concluded by saying, “We sincerely hope that this crisis will be resolved quickly and that peace in Ukraine and in neighboring countries affected by the conflict will be restored soon.”
