Thyrocare Technologies has expanded its diagnostic footprint in Uttar Pradesh with the launch of a new laboratory in Prayagraj, developed in association with SecondMedic.
The move comes as the company reports 100% NABL accreditation across all its laboratories, underscoring its push for standardised, high-quality diagnostics nationwide.
The new facility was inaugurated by Rajdeep Panwar, Chief Commercial Officer, Thyrocare Technologies Ltd. With this addition, Thyrocare now operates four laboratories in Uttar Pradesh, including existing centres in Lucknow, Noida, and Varanasi—further tightening its presence across key urban hubs in the state.
Equipped with advanced diagnostic infrastructure and staffed by trained professionals, the Prayagraj lab is designed to handle both routine and specialised testing. It aims to deliver faster turnaround times while supporting preventive and ongoing healthcare needs.
The expansion reflects Thyrocare’s broader strategy to deepen access to reliable diagnostics in emerging markets and strengthen its nationwide network, particularly beyond metro cities.
Sharing his thoughts surrounding the launch of the new lab in Prayagraj, Rahul Guha, MD and CEO, Thyrocare, said, “At Thyrocare, we envision making trustworthy and state-of-the-art diagnostic services attainable for every Indian household. The rollout of our new facility indicates our persistent efforts for expanding our presence while mitigating diagnostic gaps through a patient-focused and technology-led approach.”
Rajdeep Panwar, Chief Commercial Officer, Thyrocare, added, “Our focus in markets such as Prayagraj is on enhancing door-step delivery and guaranteeing that both healthcare partners and patients have access to reliable and prompt diagnostic services. This facility enables us to expand as well as strengthen our reach in the region while sustaining the turnaround and quality standards that Thyrocare is known for.”
With the Prayagraj launch, Thyrocare Technologies Ltd continues to scale its Uttar Pradesh operations, reinforcing its push to bring dependable diagnostic services closer to patients across tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
