DCDC Kidney Care has announced the launch of the DCDC Academy of Healthcare in Yamuna Vihar, strengthening its education vertical and addressing the growing demand for skilled dialysis professionals in India’s renal care ecosystem.

The academy, inaugurated by Aseem Garg, Founder & CEO, DCDC Kidney Care, at its new facility in Yamuna Vihar, Delhi, marks a strategic step toward building a stronger pipeline of trained dialysis technicians and healthcare professionals as chronic kidney disease cases continue to rise across the country.

With dialysis networks expanding rapidly, the shortage of skilled renal care technicians has emerged as a key challenge for providers. The launch reflects DCDC’s broader commitment to strengthening workforce readiness alongside its clinical expansion in kidney care services.

The newly launched academy will offer a Diploma in Dialysis, aimed at equipping students and healthcare professionals with practical, industry-relevant skills. The programme is open to 12th-pass students from all streams, as well as staff nurses, creating a wider entry pathway into the healthcare workforce.

The institute plans to train 40 students annually, with a strong emphasis on focused, hands-on learning and direct clinical exposure.

“To cater to the increasing need for dialysis and renal services, it is essential to build a strong pool of skilled healthcare professionals,” said Aseem Garg, Founder & CEO, DCDC Kidney Care. “As DCDC expanded its network, we identified a significant shortage of trained technicians in the renal care sector. This led to the establishment of the DCDC Academy of Healthcare. Through continuous expansion of the academy, our objective is to train and empower technicians with the skills and practical knowledge required to deliver quality patient care in dialysis services.”

Highlighting the clinical training model, Dr. Deepak Agarwal, Vice President – Clinical Excellence & Academics, DCDC Kidney Care, said the initiative is designed to create a strong foundation for dialysis treatment delivery in India.

“As dialysis demand continues to increase, there is a corresponding need for well-trained and experienced personnel to ensure high-quality treatment. Our focus will be on building a strong on-the-job training environment through a 360-degree advanced learning setup, preparing healthcare professionals for real-world dialysis conditions,” he said.

The academy is affiliated with the Indian Medical Association and Association of Healthcare Providers India, lending academic credibility and ensuring alignment with recognised industry standards.

Through this initiative, DCDC aims to bridge the gap between classroom education and real-world clinical requirements, creating employment-ready professionals for India’s expanding dialysis ecosystem.

With the launch of the DCDC Academy of Healthcare, DCDC Kidney Care is broadening its footprint beyond dialysis delivery into healthcare education and workforce development, reinforcing its long-term vision of improving access to quality kidney care while helping build a sustainable healthcare ecosystem in India.
