Cardioline has acquired Cardios from Halma, marking a significant step in expanding its global telecardiology footprint and strengthening its position in connected cardiac care.

The deal, backed by ARCHIMED, signals a strategic push toward building a comprehensive, end-to-end cardiac diagnostics platform.

Cardios, based in São Paulo, brings deep expertise in Holter monitoring and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM), with a strong legacy of clinical reliability in the Brazilian market. Its integration with Cardioline’s globally established portfolio is expected to create a more complete and connected diagnostic offering spanning the entire cardiac care pathway.

The combined entity will leverage complementary strengths—Cardioline’s international reach and telecardiology capabilities alongside Cardios’s regional expertise and specialized technologies—to deliver integrated solutions for physicians, healthcare providers, and patients worldwide. The acquisition also strengthens Cardioline’s presence in Latin America, creating a new regional hub and expanding access to key growth markets.

Luis Meireles, CEO of Cardioline, said the deal aligns with the company’s vision of advancing global cardiac care through connected, patient-centric solutions. He noted that Cardios’s precision-driven technologies in Holter and ABPM complement Cardioline’s broader diagnostic portfolio, enabling the delivery of end-to-end solutions across clinical settings.

From Cardios’s perspective, the integration enhances its capabilities by incorporating Cardioline’s expertise in electrocardiography and stress testing systems. Erica Chriguer highlighted that the combined strengths will help elevate standards in cardiac diagnostics while improving clinical outcomes and patient care.
