Smile Foundation has crossed a significant milestone by delivering 20 lakh healthcare treatments during FY 2025–26 through its integrated community healthcare initiatives.

Since launching its community healthcare programme in 2006, the organization has provided healthcare services to more than 70 lakh people cumulatively.

The foundation currently operates 143 healthcare projects across the country, including 124 Mobile Medical Units (MMUs), six static clinics, six Mobile Telemedicine Units (MTUs), two Mobile Dental Units (MDUs), four Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, Adolescent Health and Nutrition (RMNCAH+N) projects, and a Boat Clinic.

Its healthcare programmes are active across 90 districts, including 22 Aspirational Districts, spanning 22 states.

These initiatives align with key national healthcare priorities such as Ayushman Bharat, the National Digital Health Mission, the National Programme for Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases, and POSHAN Abhiyaan, while also contributing to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 on Good Health and Well-being.

During FY26, Smile Foundation delivered 17.8 lakh curative treatments through its Mobile Medical Units, Telemedicine Units, and static clinics. Preventive and promotive healthcare services reached 1.15 lakh individuals, while screenings for non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and anaemia benefited 1.57 lakh people.

These efforts were supported by health awareness campaigns and school health programmes promoting hygiene, nutrition, and regular health check-ups.

Santanu Mishra, Co-Founder and Executive Trustee, Smile Foundation, said, “Our doctors, nurses, community mobilisers and partners work across some of India’s most challenging geographies. We remain grateful to our supporters and local administrations whose collaboration strengthens our ability to align with national health priorities and ensure that quality primary healthcare is accessible to every citizen.”
