Zeus Hygia and Patch House Labs join forces to take nutraceuticals beyond the pill

The agreement will see the two companies jointly develop and commercialise premium nutraceutical ingredients in advanced transdermal delivery formats

The future of nutraceuticals may lie not in the bottle — but on the skin.

Yes, Zeus Hygia Lifesciences has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UK-based Patch House Labs in a strategic move set to shake up the nutraceutical delivery landscape.

The agreement will see the two companies jointly develop and commercialise premium nutraceutical ingredients in advanced transdermal delivery formats — shifting clinically validated wellness compounds from capsules to high-performance skin patches.

At the heart of the collaboration is a plan to convert Zeus Hygia’s proprietary branded ingredients into transdermal delivery systems (TDDS), designed to boost bioavailability, improve convenience, and enhance consumer compliance.

The first wave of development will focus on Metaberine, a low-dose berberine formulated for metabolic health and glucose management; STADICE, a mango extract targeting cognitive wellness, focus, and memory; and Grantria, a pomegranate extract positioned for beauty-from-within and menopausal health.

Transdermal systems are increasingly viewed as a next-generation platform for nutraceuticals. By bypassing first-pass metabolism and avoiding degradation in the gastrointestinal tract, patches can deliver active compounds in a sustained, controlled manner — addressing some of the most persistent challenges of oral supplementation.

The partnership combines Zeus Hygia’s ingredient innovation engine with Patch House Labs’ expertise in high-performance topical patch technologies, with ambitions extending across Europe and other global markets.

“We see strong synergies between our science-led ingredient platforms and Patch House Labs’ delivery expertise,” said Dr. Arunkanth Krishnakumar, Co-founder and CEO, Zeus Hygia Lifesciences.

“This collaboration allows us to extend the reach and efficacy of our clinically validated ingredients through novel delivery formats that enhance consumer experience and therapeutic potential.”

Isaac Davidson, Founder, Patch House Labs, added, “Zeus Hygia’s commitment to research-driven, premium nutraceutical ingredients aligns strongly with our mission to deliver high-performance transdermal solutions. By combining our formulation and testing capabilities with Zeus Hygia’s patented ingredients, we aim to create differentiated transdermal supplements that can penetrate global markets.”

The deal signals a broader shift in the nutraceutical industry, where ingredient science and advanced delivery technologies are converging fast. As demand rises for convenient, effective, science-backed wellness solutions, transdermal formats are emerging as a serious contender to traditional oral supplements.
